Welcome to "The Never-Ending Class": Companion 3 Looking for a class that grows with you and your dog? Companion 3, affectionately known as "The Never-Ending Class," is a dynamic, student-led training experience designed to keep learning fresh, fun, and interactive. Class Overview: While we start with Sue Ailsby’s Training Levels - Steps to Success book as a foundation, this class has evolved into so much more. Each session is guided by student input, making every class unique. What you'll train varies from session to session, blending practical skills with creative challenges including, but not limited to: Loose Leash Walking: Master calm, controlled walks. Drill Team: All students work their dogs at the same time. Silly Tricks: Teach playful and engaging tricks. Problem Solving: Address real-life challenges with your dog. This class has something for everyone Some behaviors are revisited every session for continued growth, while others are exclusive to specific sessions. Why "The Never-Ending Class"? This class is meant to be repeated as long as you and your dog are having fun! Each six-week session is designed to offer new learning opportunities while reinforcing previous skills. Interactive & Student-Led: Students collaborate to decide what skills or behaviors to work on each session. Flexible & Evolving: No two sessions are the same, keeping training fresh and exciting. Affordable for Repeat Students: The first session is $180, with additional sessions at $150 to encourage continued participation. Who Should Join? Dog owners looking for variety and engagement in training. Those who love training and don't have a specific goal like competition obedience or rally. Students ready to explore both practical and playful skills with their dog. Prerequisites: Completion of Companion Dog 1 (or similar training experience). May need to meet with Alison prior to joining class. Open to friendly (neutral) dogs who can work well in group settings.
